Our Ingredients

Argan tree in Morocco

Two Signature Ingredients

Our ingredient story is intentionally simple. The two heroes behind every Maraya ritual are argan oil and olive oil — both rooted deep in centuries of Moroccan beauty tradition.

Argan Oil

A golden oil pressed from the kernels of the argan tree, native to a narrow belt of southwestern Morocco. Hand-harvested and cold-pressed, it softens, nourishes, and restores skin without ever feeling heavy.

  • Deeply nourishing: replenishes dry skin with lasting softness.
  • Weightless finish: absorbs fast, leaving skin supple, never oily.
  • Ritual essential: the heart of our dry oil, lotion, scrub and argan soap.

Olive Oil

The base of our Moroccan black soap — olives cured into a mineral-rich paste, the way it's been made for generations. A gentle exfoliant at the heart of the hammam, it lifts and softens to prepare the skin.

  • Gentle exfoliation: lifts away dead skin and unclogs pores.
  • Skin softening: leaves skin smooth and primed for the ritual.
  • Hammam heritage: the traditional Moroccan cleanse, centuries old.
Great rituals don't need a long list of ingredients.

Why We Keep It Focused

By centering Maraya on argan and olive, we honour the two that best capture the care, purity, and heritage behind everything we make.

A Ritual Rooted in Morocco

Together, argan and olive capture the essence of Moroccan body care — cleanse, exfoliate, nourish — bringing the spirit of the hammam into your everyday.
